This is just a side project blog that we'd like to dedicate to our nail art and the addiction that we have for polishes

Carlin and Alex own this blog together so there can be double the nail awesomeness

#CrackPolishProblems

tilisyus:

Last night I had this really cute idea on how my nails would be until the crack nail polish wasn’t participating. Well, it was prolly partly my fault but duh?? I can’t blame myself! Of course I’m gonna blame the polish! Heehee

I started painting my nails bright orange and yellow….

Then I added China Glaze Black Mesh…. which was the deal breaker!!!

After removing them off my nails I decided to put 2 coats of Sephora Rock and layered with a coat of China Glaze Tinsel (not on photo.) After having a nice sleep, I added a coat of Black Mesh which turned out super pretty heehee. Then I added a coat of Essie Shine Of The Times and lastly, Seche Vite top coat! Viola! ;D

Hope y’all like it cos I love it! HAHA! ;D

P.S. When you apply a crack nail polish, make sure that your base color is completely dry. As in even if you press on your nails the base doesn’t make any signs of fingerprints! I’m impatient so maybe that’s making me hate crack polish a tiny bit. Heehee ;D Ciao!

holy crap, i never thought about doing that! it makes it look a million times better.

SHCSM Dorien Grey + Essie Shine of the Times

Dorien Grey is such a great base for flakies. It’s subtle, but the flakes still show.

Revlon Facets of Fuschia & Essie Shine of the Times

Even more difficult to photograph… but the flakies on top of the glitter is gorgeous.
