Essie Neon Collection 2013: Swatches and Review
Hi everyone! I have a full review of the new Essie Neon Collection. I have some mixed feelings about this collection - there are some great things going on here, but also some issues with the polishes - so if you’re thinking about any of these check out my blog post. Link to my review can be found HERE.
Polished pictured (top - bottom, left - right):
- Boom Boom Room
- Bottle Service (very difficult to capture the colour on this accurately, it’s slightly darker and more of a cool-toned magenta in real life)
- Bouncer It’s Me
- DJ Play That Song
- Saturday Disco Fever
- Shake Your $$ Maker

Hairspray marbling: neon green, black, matte topcoat
I bought this polish a while ago and haven’t really worn it much, the formula seemed to be quite sheer and it needed a lot of coats to become opaque, but I was feeling girly and thought I would give this one another shot.
Pink Voltage by China Glaze is a matte neon pink with a slight pearl shimmer. It took four coats to be completely opaque but the drying times for in between coats is super fast! I’m glad I have this polish another go as o am loving neon colours at the moment :)
